Come and play in the sand...
BULA and the WFDF are jointly hosting the 3rd World Championships of Beach Ultimate. It promises to be the biggest one, by far! It will be held at Getur sports facility, a 90 minute drive from Venice, where we have space for 2,500 players in a state-of-the-art resort center for sport, health and fitness, set in 60 ha. of natural pine woods. Check it out!
Want to play? Talk to your national federation. If your federation doesn't send a team in the division you want to play in, you can request to play for Currier Island. And don't worry, this website will look amazing as soon as we are done with it :-)
Accommodations
The accommodation and sports facilities are right next to each other, right by a private beach, over 1 km long, which can easily accommodate 15 regulation-size Beach Ultimate fields. Accommodations will be within the village in rooms for 4 players or more (different accommodation options will be available). Players make the short (50 mt) walk from their room to the beach along paths between the trees, with no road traffic.
Food options
Accommodation comes with food and it is a full board service (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)! The food is very good and comes in embarrassingly large quantities!
